MA Research Computer Arts
Course Description
Computer Arts covers a wide range of applied and theoretical research.
With the launch of our Computer Arts degree programme in 1999,helped to the development of academic study for artists engaged with new and emergent media technologies.
Today, this broad field of artistic practice underpins not only research in digital creativity and audience engagement, but also creative industries such as graphic design, animation, film and television, visual effects, and computer games. You will be supported to conduct this research by our world-leading expertise in computer arts and computer games education, our connections with key industry partners, and our specialist computer arts studios and game development facilities.

The qualification can be offered to Learners from age 18. The Learners need to ensure that they have sufficient capability at the right level to undertake the learning and assessment.
English language requirements
The Qualifications have been designed to be accessible without artificial barriers that restrict access and progression:
• IELTS minimum 6.5 overall with no fail.
• Minimum 2.2 class of degree
We consider applicants:
• Who have demonstrated some ability and possess Qualifications at Level 7 in Computer Arts or related field.
• Who have spent some time in an organisational role and wish to develop their careers further.
• With professional experience looking to change careers through work-based learning.
