Course Description
This professional development course is designed for engineers and technicians who need to understand how to maintain and troubleshoot HVAC systems. This course is designed for engineers and technicians from a wide range of abilities and backgrounds.
It will provide an excellent introduction to the fundamentals of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning. It begins with a review of psychrometric charts and then examines the factors that influence design choices, indoor air quality, load calculations, and heating, ventilation and airconditioning systems.
Learners are able to:

• Understand how to maintain and troubleshoot HVAC systems.
The qualification can be offered to Learners from age 18. The Learners need to ensure that they have sufficient capability at the right level to undertake the learning and assessment.
English language requirements
The Qualifications have been designed to be accessible without artificial barriers that restrict access and progression:
• IELTS minimum 5.0- 6.5 overall with no fail.
• Minimum 3A Levels or equivalent qualification.
• Pass 5 GCSE subjects
