Professional Diploma in JCT Contracts (Online Learning)
Course Description
JCT (Joint Contracts Tribunal) Contracts are used within construction projects to facilitate agreements between various parties. They can be used for agreements between all parties in the construction process. JCT are a leading provider in standard contracts with the main goal of reducing the costs of entering into contracts. Moreover, the newest version of JCT contracts is the 2016 edition, however, JCT has been creating standard forms of contract since 1931.
Learners are able to:
• Teach learner the fundamentals to manage your projects.
• Learn how to set up a contract dependent on the parties relationship and responsibilities.
• Able to understand the legal aspects of JCT contracts and the appropriate steps to take to ensure that the contract is carried out correctly.
The qualification can be offered to Learners from age 18. The Learners need to ensure that they have sufficient capability at the right level to undertake the learning and assessment.
English language requirements
The Qualifications have been designed to be accessible without artificial barriers that restrict access and progression:
• IELTS minimum 5.0- 6.5 overall with no fail.
• Minimum 3A Levels or equivalent qualification.
• Pass 5 GCSE subjects

• Who have demonstrated some ability and possess Qualifications at Level 5, for example, HND.
• Who have spent some time in an organisational role and wish to develop their careers further.
• With professional experience looking to change careers through work-based learning.
